Milwaukee Bucks Game 3 Preview: April 20 vs Boston Celtics

Celtic to watch
Topped off by an outstanding Game 2, Jaylen Brown has had an electric start to this series. As the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, the Celtics would always have hoped Brown could be a star, but that’s starting to become a reality in Irving’s absence.
Brown is the Celtics’ lead scorer so far in the series averaging 25.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 rebounds per game, while shooting an impressive 51.2 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from deep.
Between Khris Middleton and Tony Snell, the Bucks will be hoping to do a better job of slowing Brown down. Working in the Celtics’ favor in that situation is the threat posed by Jayson Tatum, if the Bucks fall into over-playing on Brown.
As Game 3 progresses, particularly if it’s closely contested, the Bucks may well be forced into some degree of “pick your poison” decision.
Judging from what we’ve seen so far in the series, Brown won’t be the guy the Bucks can afford to dare to beat them. He may only be 21, but he’s delivering the goods already.
