Milwaukee Bucks 2017-18 Season Review: Jason Terry
By Adam McGee
Terry’s game of the season
Having worked his way back into the rotation following Jason Kidd‘s departure, Terry’s best game came immediately after the All-Star break and signaled a spell in the season where his presence in the team produced the greatest impact.
On what was one of the leading contenders for Milwaukee’s signature win of the season, Terry scored 14 points in 26 minutes of a narrow road win over the Toronto Raptors.
Terry lived beyond the three-point line on this occasion, offering the Bucks some valuable spacing in a game where they relied heavily on both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Eric Bledsoe getting to the rim to score.
All of that combined to allow Terry to feast off of kick-outs, and attempt all of his field goals from behind the arc and knocking down 4-of-5 from deep. Terry also added two free throws for his 14-point tally, with an additional two rebounds, an assist and a steal for good measure.
Considering the Bucks’ history with Toronto from the first round series in 2016-17, this win was an important one for Milwaukee.
It also acted as one of the true high points of the season for the Bucks, as it promised a strong close to the year that the team ultimately struggled to deliver after this game.
