Milwaukee Bucks 2017-18 Season Review: Tony Snell
Snell’s game of the season
On a night when the Bucks were without their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had left the prior contest with a sprained ankle, Tony Snell was one figure within a motley crew that came up big in a 118-105 win over the Chicago Bulls on March 23.
Playing 21-and-a-half minutes of action, Snell finished with 18 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting from the field (4-for-4 from three) and was a +13 on the night.
With the Bucks’ bench accounting for 70 of the team’s 118 points that night, Snell was among the reasons why the second unit helped carry the Bucks to the win with his flawless shooting from all levels of the floor.
Also, true to form, Snell failed to make an impact in any other statistical category outside of plus-minus, which has been an occasional occurrence throughout his Bucks tenure.
With nights like this one coming too few and far between for Snell by the end of the season, it served as a reminder that the fifth-year swingman is capable of supplying lights out shooting in the face of the struggles he endured at times.
