Fit with the Bucks

Since he’s been projected around the range of where the Milwaukee Bucks are selecting in the first round of this year’s draft, Evans will be a name to keep in mind over the next several weeks.

There’s a number of reasons for why that is the case, most of all being that the Bucks will always be looking to stock up on 3-and-D wings with superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way for the squad.

Evans certainly fits that bill and although he’s due for a period of adjustment when it comes to elevating his game to the NBA level beyond those areas, the Baton Rouge native’s versatile capabilities make him an appealing contributor on both ends.

While he doesn’t possess the athletic upside, Evans being slightly younger than most players of his class/age also gives him the wiggle room to smooth out and season his game when it comes to scoping out his development on the next level.

As the Bucks continue to fill their foundation and look to bolster their versatility to keep opposing teams off guard on a nightly basis, players of Evans’ caliber will always be a logical fit in any capacity.

Should he be available by the time the Bucks are picking on draft night, the Bucks could do much worse than snagging the three-year Cincinnati man.
