The best of Jennings

First and foremost, Jennings looked to have regained much of the physical ability that was associated with his game before he suffered his devastating Achilles injury more than three years ago.

That obviously speaks to Jennings’ speed, his preference to play more up tempo and his ability to create shots off the dribble, which the 28-year-old regularly flaunted while adding his penchant for flair and flashiness to it all as well.

And as Jennings said as much after returning back to the NBA level with the Bucks, having the confidence and being comfortable in playing up to his capabilities is as important as being able to make an impact on the floor.

As far as his production on the court is concerned, Jennings’ deferential play was on display with both the Bucks as well as the Herd this year. Across his seven appearances with the expansion affiliate this year, Jennings averaged 7.4 assists and maintained 3.1 assists in his 14 outings while with the Bucks.

Although his sloppiness with taking care of the ball or regularly making errant passes shone through throughout as well, Jennings’ ability to make reads and find open teammates remained intact since the last time he donned a Bucks uniform.
