Milwaukee Bucks: 10 potential veteran minimum NBA free agency targets
By Adam McGee
Glenn Robinson III
The notion of Glenn Robinson III landing in Milwaukee undoubtedly brings about a sense of nostalgia and reflection on the great moments delivered by his father during his time as a star player for the Bucks.
The 24-year-old is by no means the same caliber of player as the man known as Big Dog was, but he possesses a lot of intriguing tools and abilities, along with more that may be somewhat hidden under untapped potential.
Robinson III was expected to have a much greater role with the Pacers last season following Paul George‘s departure, but an early season ankle injury significantly limited his opportunity and left him battling to get his feel back when he did get healthy late in the season.
Still, there were some positive glimpses, making the former Michigan Wolverine a player who may be worth a buy-low gamble in free agency.
Robinson III is an outstanding athlete, as demonstrated by his 2017 Slam Dunk Contest win, a 38.1 percent career three-point shooter, and has ideal size and length to be an impactful wing defender.
In short, Robinson III perfectly fits the mold of the underachieving young wings that Mike Budenholzer has helped to improve in the past.
