Luc Mbah a Moute

A player who certainly won’t be unfamiliar to Bucks fans, a reunion with Luc Mbah a Moute seems more tantalizing heading into 2018 free agency than likely anyone would have guessed.

Mbah a Moute put together an excellent season with the Houston Rockets, providing tremendous versatility in contributing significantly to the team who finished the regular season with the league’s best record and ultimately fell to the Warriors in seven games in the Conference Finals.

Mbah a Moute played 61 regular season games for the Rockets, and proved that in spite of approaching his 32nd birthday, he’s still learning of new ways to exert his influence in the NBA.

The Cameroonian possesses a winning combination of good length, quickness and athleticism, which allowed him to play important minutes as a specialist defender with an effortless comfort switching on that end of the floor.

Beyond that, the biggest development of Mbah a Moute’s latter years has been the addition of a consistent three-point stroke.

Having knocked down 39.1 percent of his triples in 2016-17 with the Clippers, Mbah a Moute doubled his volume of attempts with the Rockets and still made a highly respectable 36.4 percent of his long-range efforts. That may make him an ideal reserve forward for the Bucks, if a potential reunion proves to be on the cards.
