After experiencing an injury shortened season, Glenn Robinson III is heading towards an uncertain future as he’s set to enter this year’s NBA Free Agency. Could he be a quality value signing for the Milwaukee Bucks?

As he’s heading towards determining the next step in his career in this year’s NBA Free Agency, Glenn Robinson III will be looking to recapture the momentum he was building toward only a year ago.

Coming off the most productive campaign of his young career during the 2016-17 season, Robinson was viewed as integral piece as the Pacers very much looked like a rebuilding team in the wake of trading multiple-time All-Star Paul George at the end of June last year.

But as it turned it out, Robinson played only a bit part in the Pacers’ highly successful and rejuvenating season, which was headlined by the breakout star campaign by this year’s NBA Most Improved Player, Victor Oladipo.

The reason for that was due to the Indiana native suffering a severely sprained ankle in the middle of last year’s training camp, which he then underwent surgery to repair.

While the initial diagnosis was thought to be just more than two months following surgery, Robinson’s season debut with the Pacers didn’t come until after the All-Star break this year, though he did have some tune up games with their G League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Despite returning back to full health, Robinson was on the outside looking in as it related to his spot in the team’s defined rotation with nearly two-thirds of the season completed by the time of his return. That carried over into the Pacers’ seven-game playoff run as he only registered five minutes and 35 seconds of playing time across his two appearances in their first round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Now as the Pacers look to build on the success of their incredibly bright and surprising season, Robinson’ future in the Hoosier state is far from a certainty at this point.

So without further ado, let’s dive deep into Glenn Robinson’s game, gauge where he stands in the open market and examine his potential fit with the Milwaukee Bucks.
