Doncic, DiVincenzo debuts in-doubt
Undoubtedly the biggest storyline entering into Sunday’s game is whether either or both of the two teams’ respective first round picks will suit up for their NBA debut.
Both Luka Doncic and Donte DiVincenzo were interviewed on the broadcast during their team’s opening games in Vegas, with neither giving a whole lot away about their potential availability in the coming days.
There’s a strong possibility that Doncic won’t suit up at all in Summer League, having only recently completed a lengthy and successful season in Europe with Real Madrid. Still, an important development has come to pass since that first Mavericks game, as Doncic’s buyout has officially been finalized with Madrid, moving him a step closer to being eligible to play at the very least.

For DiVincenzo, while he’s been able to practice with Milwaukee’s roster in recent days, he’s suffering from a minor groin injury which has proved to be enough for the Bucks to exercise some caution with his game availability.

For the sake of entertainment and excitement, DiVincenzo’s return to health would be incredibly welcome for Bucks fans, while if Doncic is to suit up for Dallas on Sunday, the eyes of the whole NBA will likely be fixed on the action from Cox Pavilion.
