Positive takeaway
As alluded to throughout the recap, the Bucks’ willingness to crash the glass and bring a level of physicality to the Nuggets paid dividends for the majority of the game.
The Bucks won the rebounding battle on the night versus the Nuggets as they pulled down 36 boards while Denver corralled 30.
While there wasn’t one standout rebounder, considering Sterling Brown led the Bucks in the rebounding department with seven boards, it was a true team effort as all but James Blackmon Jr. snagged down a loose ball of the 10 players who saw the court for the game.
Additionally, the Bucks made the most of their opportunities of both getting to the free-throw line and converting their attempts at the stripe, especially after registering just seven free-throw attempts against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night.
For the night, the Bucks buried 13 of their 16 attempts from the line (81.3 percent), edging out the Nuggets’ 76.5 percent on their free-throw attempts, despite logging one more trip than the Bucks.
