Sterling Brown

Sterling Brown falls under the same category as Tony Snell as a 3-and-D wing, with plenty of room to improve, grow and take on a bigger role in the upcoming season.

As a rookie, Brown had an up-and-down season that may in many ways be a result of his inconsistent role which saw him come in and out of the rotation.

Brown’s shooting fluctuated throughout the year, ultimately finishing at a below average 47.8 percent in terms of effective field goal percentage. Still, Brown’s motor and his defense leaves plenty of promise.

He can definitely be a multi-positional defender with his frame and he has shown flashes of being a shooter — shot 35.7 percent from deep as a rookie with a nice looking stroke. Brown also grabbed more rebounds than Tony Snell (2.6 vs 1.9) in half as many minutes. If Tony Snell does not improve significantly, it is not hard to imagine Sterling Brown getting a lot of his minutes.

If Brown can play well enough to achieve that, and offer the Bucks really positive wing minutes on both ends of the floor, it could be a game-changer for the team.
