Milwaukee Bucks: Best home games for each month of 2018-19 season
By Robby Cowles
February
Best games: vs Boston Celtics (2/21), vs Minnesota Timberwolves (2/23)
The Bucks only have four home games in the entire month of February, but they’re good ones! First up, they play this team from Boston you may have heard of: the Celtics. We all know the Bucks and Celtics went seven games in last year’s playoffs, and this is the lone trip to Milwaukee for Boston in the regular season.
The Bucks went 3-0 in the playoff series against Boston at home, taking advantage of the inexperience of some of Boston’s young players like Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier. Speaking of Rozier, let’s not forget about the animosity between him and Bledsoe.
Rozier clearly got the better of Bledsoe, and Bledsoe’s been so mad about it he’s been breaking rims in the offseason. Also, perhaps playing the Celtics at home will bring back Playoff Thon! The biggest storyline, though, will be in what way will Giannis once again dunk Aron Baynes into oblivion.
The next game after Boston features the Bucks western neighbors, the Minnesota Timberwolves, visiting the Forum. Minnesota has a lot of young, intriguing players in Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Jimmy Butler. This is assuming Butler hasn’t been killed by Dwyane Wade for commenting on his wife’s Instagram. I hate to see my Marquette boys fighting.
Next best game: vs Washington Wizards (2/8)
