Milwaukee Bucks: Best home games for each month of 2018-19 season
By Robby Cowles
March
Best games: vs Los Angeles Lakers (3/19), vs Indiana Pacers (3/7)
Where February was pretty barren, March is a positively loaded home slate for the Bucks. The headliner is, of course, the Los Angeles Lakers’ lone trek to Milwaukee. If you listen closely, as soon as the Lakers’ team plane touches down in Milwaukee you’ll hear the Laker bandwagon fans slowly take off their Stephen Curry jerseys and going back to donning the purple and gold.
Even when the Lakers were trash the past couple of years there was always an added element of excitement to the Milwaukee crowd during the game. Now, they have LeBron James and possibly another star player by the time this game is played. Seeing LeBron play should be on every basketball fan’s bucket list.
The “I’ve always been a Laker fan” swarm will invade the Forum. They’ll probably be rowdy too since it’s in March, which means that their beloved Duke Blue Devils probably just got eliminated in the first weekend of the NCAA tournament again.
There’s many other great games on the schedule besides the Laker game, though. The Houston Rockets and 76ers also visit Milwaukee, but the game I’m recommending is the Indiana Pacers game.
Now, there’s almost no doubt the Rockets and probably the 76ers will be better teams than the Pacers, but since the Bucks and Pacers are likely to be battling for the Central Division, this game will mean more. It’s a late-season game and could have implications for who claims home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The stakes will be much higher in this game.
Next best option: vs Houston Rockets (3/26)
