Ilyasova on why he decided to return to Milwaukee:

"“I saw the team, and obviously Coach Bud, and it was a great opportunity. I played with Coach Bud in Atlanta, I think the team is a really talented team, and we have a lot of things to accomplish. I’m here to try to get wins and be a championship team.”"

Ilyasova on how the franchise has changed since he first arrived in Milwaukee:

"“To look at it since 2005, it’s changed a lot. Through those years small changes are obviously always going to be a part of it, like uniforms and all of those kind of things, like coaches and players, but this year when I come it’s a new facility, and one of the biggest things is the new arena. I think it’s going to be really exciting for the people of Milwaukee to come and cheer for us, and we’re going to do the same things and just play hard. When you look at the group of guys we have, I think they understand what needs to be done to win games. And I played for Coach Bud in Atlanta and he’s a winning mentality coach.”"
