Milwaukee Bucks: 3 takeaways from 144-109 win over Sacramento Kings
For the record
After being on the cusp of shattering it early last week during a duel with the then-undefeated Toronto Raptors, a new single game three-point shooting performance now stands in the Bucks’ record books as of Sunday afternoon.
The Bucks splashed and cashed in from beyond the arc all day long where they finished with a new franchise-high 22 three-point makes on 56 attempts.
It was Pat Connaughton who had the honor of putting down the record-breaking 20th three-pointer at the 3:04 mark of the fourth quarter and big man John Henson chipped in a pair of triples for good measure in what remained of the game.
Coming off of their outlier performance in this area against the Boston Celtics last time out, the Bucks eclipsed their previous three-point effort in the first half by draining 11 of their 29 attempts over that span (the Bucks connected on nine of the 29 attempts from three during their loss to the Celtics).
And once again, it was a total team effort as all but Sterling Brown and Matthew Dellavedova did their part in setting the marker that will now be the new benchmark the Bucks will look to topple throughout the rest of the regular season.
