Milwaukee Bucks: Revisiting the 24-1 game three years later
By Robby Cowles
The Milwaukee Bucks travel to Oakland Thursday night for a showdown with the two-time defending champs, the Golden State Warriors. Before they square off, let’s look back on perhaps the most memorable game between the two franchises.
This Thursday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will travel to Golden State to take on the Warriors in what is sure to be a highly-anticipated game. The Bucks enter Oakland at 8-2 and near the top of the Eastern conference standings, while the Warriors come into the matchup at 10-1 and looking familiarly unstoppable.
The big game got me thinking about a different Bucks-Warriors matchup, though, one that took place nearly three years ago in Milwaukee between the Bucks and another seemingly-unstoppable Warriors team.

I’m talking, of course, about the 24-1 game. The game that was one of the most surprising upsets in recent NBA history, as the lowly Milwaukee Bucks broke the winning streak of the Golden State Warriors.
With the teams once again facing off this week, and with many of the same players playing in the game who were involved in that famous December 12, 2015 matchup, why not take some time to look back on that famous game and remember how the upset all came about?
