As playoff action is set to get underway in the NBA for another year, it’s been a long, long time since the Milwaukee Bucks have had such cause for excitement and optimism.
The Bucks will enter the postseason with the NBA’s best record, and therefore have home court advantage secured through to the Finals, should they advance that far.

Milwaukee has a rich and incredibly varied postseason history that has amounted to more misery than celebration in recent decades. Even in those more underwhelming periods in the franchise’s history, there have been series, games, plays and moments worth remembering.
The intensity of the playoffs adds a new layer to the action on the court, but also helps to crystallize important moments in the memory.
In other words, even on mediocre eighth-seeded teams (and the Bucks have had plenty of them), there’s always a chance of producing a moment that leads to a kind of immortality.
