Summer focus and final grade

First and foremost, getting back to full health, that is if he isn’t already, will be DiVincenzo’s biggest priority now that the offseason is finally here.

Because with the Bucks’ appearance at this year’s Summer League in Las Vegas a little more than a month away, it’ll be interesting to see whether DiVincenzo’s availability will be affected at all, if his clean bill of health remains elusive by that point.

Other than that, the primary focus for DiVincenzo’s summer following his rookie campaign is continuing on building the foundation he only got to lay down for such a limited amount of time this year. Among the biggest things DiVincenzo will have to address is improving on his shooting consistency from three, considering how much his struggles with his shot plagued his shortened rookie season.

But continuing to enhance his skill work in all areas of the game, whether it’s in creating his own shot, maintaining and building on the defensive lessons he learned going into his first year in the league and so on, will certainly be preached by the Bucks’ developmental staff and assistant coaches.

With the shock worn off after fulfilling his dream of playing in the NBA now that his year-long introduction is out of the way, DiVincenzo now has the familiarity needed to kick on his professional career and he’s well aware of the standard he’ll be held to under head coach Mike Budenholzer and co.
