Game of the season

Usually, this section is reserved for the best outing a Bucks player put together or the performance that best represented their season overall, for better or for worse.

Unfortunately and by process of elimination, considering he logged three appearances with the Bucks, Gasol’s San Antonio homecoming proved to be incredibly nightmarish back on March 10 as the Bucks fell to the Spurs 121-114.

In over 14-and-a half minutes of action off the bench, Gasol posted three points on 1-of-3 shooting from the field (1-or-1 from three), three rebounds, an assist and was a ghastly -20 that Sunday night.

While Gasol had finally christened his stay in Milwaukee by hitting his first field goal in a Bucks uniform, it would stand as the lone positive to be gleamed from his outing that night.

Otherwise, Gasol spent most of the night being singled out by a whole host of Spurs, most notably LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan, and his athletic and defensive limitations led to an incredibly disastrous showing that ultimately stood as his final Bucks appearance for the year.
