Terence Davis

Another senior that could work his way into the mix for a pick in the latter stages of the first round is Terence Davis. The 22-year-old has widely been touted as a rapid riser throughout the draft process, having made a great impression at the combine, and in team workouts since.

At 6’4″ with a 6’8″ wingspan, Davis is arguably a little undersized for what has become the modern NBA wing in recent years, and that may ultimately be the thing that prevents him from climbing all the way into the first, and making a meaningful impact in the NBA in the longer term.

Still, Davis can score. Efficiency is not necessarily his strong suit, although improvements in that department in his senior year shouldn’t be dismissed. Davis can also operate a little as a passer, although his ceiling may be raised significantly with improvement in that area and the ability to play as more of a creative shooting guard.

On the defensive end, Davis’ lateral quickness, engagement, and sheer pride in taking on all challenges will undoubtedly endear him to coaches and teammates alike. Who knows, maybe that could be enough to win over the Bucks’ front office too.

That’s a wrap for our look at the wing prospects in Milwaukee’s range, but on Wednesday we’ll move on to the forwards.
