Milwaukee Bucks: 5 wings to target in free agency
By Adam McGee
Garrett Temple
Boasting a great mix of skill and physical tools, Garrett Temple’s versatility will make him an obviously intriguing target for a number of NBA teams.
Temple’s game skews toward a combo guard archetype, yet at 6’6″ he’s more than capable of slotting in at small forward and operating as a 3-and-D wing.
Now with nine NBA seasons under his belt, Temple is immensely experienced and has a well-rounded game that has allowed him to fit in and positively contribute with multiple very different teams.
Also significant to that adjustability is Temple’s reputation as a selfless teammate and a natural leader, which has made him a key locker room figure even in some of his more brief stops around the NBA.
Among the many teams Temple has played for to date, there is a brief and forgettable nine-game stint with the Bucks in 2011. If he was to land with the Bucks again this summer, Temple’s combination of veteran know-how, ball-handling, defense, and (sometimes) shooting could well lead to a much more significant stay in Milwaukee.
