Noah Vonleh

Noah Vonleh produced a breakout season with the Knicks last year, finally delivering on the potential that had led the Hornets to pick him ninth overall back in 2014.

Of course, Bucks fans may be more aware of that fact than most.

In four games against Milwaukee last season, Vonleh averaged 13.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks, while shooting 62.1 percent from the field and making 6-of-8 three-point attempts. Not only do those numbers speak to Vonleh’s impressive play against the Bucks, but it’s worth mentioning that he did a better job than most could muster when faced with Giannis Antetokounmpo too.

Vonleh’s play against the Bucks wasn’t an aberration by any means either, as he averaged 11.9 points, 11 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per 36 minutes over the entirety of the season too.

Having only embraced three-point shooting in the last 18 months or so, Vonleh has shown signs of respectable range and could yet develop into an even further improved shooter too.

As it is, Vonleh’s combination of size and athleticism makes him an intriguing player on both ends, and one who’s still just 23 years old. In particular, Vonleh’s ability to be impactful defensively would make him a very nice signing if the Bucks could get him on a value deal.
