Mr. C
For the Bucks’ first two Summer League games, it’s been two-way player Bonzie Colson II who has been, by far and away, the squad’s most consistent player in Las Vegas.
Colson has sparkled as one of the event’s leading and most efficient scorers at 20 points per game, thanks to his ability to cash from deep (4-of-8, 50 percent) and get to the free throw line with great frequency (14-of-18, 77.8 percent).
The 23-year-old’s scoring aggressiveness and ability to create shots for himself has given the Bucks a much needed scoring punch at times, as evidenced by their second half performance and eventual comeback victory over the Hawks last time out.
While he’s reportedly still under his two-way contract for next season, Colson’s strong play during his first Summer League will surely strengthen the Bucks’ front office’s belief in him as they continue to explore building up their entire roster ahead of the 2019-20 season.
