Ersan Ilyasova – Zoom Dad Shoe 1s

While generally reserved for New Balance or Asics, the dad shoes extend out to Nike here. Whether given the sleekest pair of kicks, or a set of plain white comfort-firsts with blades of freshly mowed grass inside of them, Ersan will lead the league in charges taken no matter what he laces up.

Sterling Brown – Zoom Lockdown 1s

Nobody sported more shades of yellow kicks than Sterling Brown did last season. While a difficult base color to work with, this version pops super well, and just looks like a typical intense Sterling Brown shoe. Step aside sterling silver, I’m all in on Sterling yellow.

Donte DiVincenzo – Zoom Ragu 1s

Almost a mirror image of Donte’s 2018-2019 early season shoes, he can carry them over into next season, just using a new moniker. This is as straightforward a match as it gets. Lace them up DDV.

Pat Connaughton – Zoom Planet 1s

Who better to don the Bucks green and cream than Patrick Bergin Connaughton, the former Notre Dame Fighting Irish multi-sport athlete, who also hails from the Boston suburbs? A fan favorite color combo, on a fan favorite player. Planet Pat stays awesome.

D.J. Wilson – Zoom Lanky 1s

When the Bucks rebranded in 2015, they chose the four colors of black, green, blue, and white, as their primary palette. Many times in the 2018-19 season, Wilson would sport a pair of Nike’s that included all four of these colors on one shoe, and he made it work. The Zoom Lanky 1’s prove it can work yet again.

George Hill – Zoom George 1s

George Hill doesn’t need a fancy nickname for his shoes. He’s owned signature shoes from Chinese based brand, Peak, in a wild array of colors over his career, and has also worn various Paul George and Kevin Durant lines of Nike. We’ll take his typical black and silver colorway from his 2019 run with the Bucks, and simply name it the Zoom George line. We want nothing of his 2019 time with the Bucks to be any different.

Bonus Addition: Scott Romportl – Zoom Takemymoney 1s

Whichever shoe company was going to give Giannis Antetokounmpo a signature shoe line was always going to get my money. Then they went and allowed full customization and suddenly the wallet has a chance to really thin out. Of the 40 or so models I created, I settled on these being the inaugural purchase. Key word, inaugural.
