By Adam McGee
The Milwaukee Bucks won the race to sign highly sought after veteran free agent Kyle Korver, but just how good could the deal be for the East’s frontrunners?
It was a busy Saturday for the Milwaukee Bucks, as the team’s roster outlook for the 2019-20 season took on a much clearer picture.
Shortly after Frank Mason III was inked to a two-way deal, news came that Kyle Korver had finally made a free agent decision and opted to sign with the Bucks on a one-year, veteran minimum deal.

The addition of Korver gives Milwaukee yet another high character veteran who still projects as having real value on the court next season. Specifically in Korver’s case, the Bucks now have one of the best pure shooters the NBA has ever seen, and the kind of dynamic shooting threat that will make them the envy of teams around the NBA.
Given the makeup of the Bucks’ roster, and the importance of shooters to unlock the very best from their most important players, even at 38 years old, Korver could have a really crucial role to play for Milwaukee next season.
With all of that considered, let’s take a closer look at what Korver will bring to the table, and how the deal grades out from a Bucks’ perspective.
