January 24 – at Charlotte Hornets
A few days after taking part in this year’s MLK Day slate, the Bucks will make history in their ensuing game on Friday, January 24.
The Bucks will take on the Charlotte Hornets and play in the NBA’s first-ever regular season game in Paris that afternoon at AccorHotels Arena for a 2pm CT tip off. This will mark the second time the Bucks have played a regular season game overseas as they previously played in London against the New York Knicks during the 2014-15 season.
While the opponent doesn’t inspire a must-watch on first glance as the Hornets will surely be one of the worst teams in the league next season, the Bucks will be in the limelight throughout that week, based on the moment and spectacle.
With fans overseas getting treated to seeing the talents and gifts of Antetokounmpo in person, the Bucks will have an opportunity to gain a new swath of fans, all of which justifies the reason for taking part in this special event in the first place.
With this only serving as a taste of the Bucks’ highly anticipated 2019-20 NBA season, there will surely be marquee games and dates that will make up for the upcoming campaign.
