October 24 – at Houston Rockets

Normally, the first game of the season will draw everyone’s attention, but the Bucks are faced with a particularly stiff test to open up their 2019-20 NBA season.

The Bucks are slated to face off against the Houston Rockets on Thursday, October 24 for a 7pm CT tilt at the Toyota Center, which will be the first of 10 Bucks games that will be broadcast on TNT.

Houston, of course, was at the epicenter of one of the biggest shakeups this offseason and it culminated in the blockbuster trade of Chris Paul in exchange for Russell Westbrook from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With Harden and Westbrook reunited in Clutch City, that means each of the last three MVP recipients will all be on the floor when both teams kick off their respective seasons that Thursday night. That will surely be an explosive way to start the season and it will require the Bucks to be ready for what the new-look Rockets have in store.
