12. Jabari Parker

Seasons: 4

Averaged: 15.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2 assists (49 FG%, 35.2 3PT%)

Oh what could have been for Jabari Parker. Selected second overall in the 2014 draft after one season in Duke, Parker was meant to be the savior of a then dying franchise. The talk of a relocation to Seattle was strong and Milwaukee had placed their hopes and dreams of staying in Wisconsin on the shoulders of a then 19-year-old.

Fast forward to 2019, and Milwaukee spends its time at the top of the ladder, and secure in a state-of-the-art $500 million stadium, thanks in large part to a certain Greek superstar, but this was once expected to be Parker’s team. He exploded out of the gates, winning Eastern Conference Rookie of the month in his first 25 games and looking every bit the complete package that everyone expected coming out of Duke.

Unfortunately, we all know what came next, two crippling ACL tears that derailed the forward’s NBA career. Parker threatened to resurrect his career in the 2016-17 season; averaging over 20 points per game before tragedy struck again as he tore the same ligament midway through the season.

Parker did return in the latter half of the 17-18 season, but he was never the same again as Milwaukee let him walk that off-season. Parker has since been with three teams and now finds himself in danger of exiting the NBA for good in the not too distant future.

Parker barely scrapes his way on to this list for his short lived comeback between his first and second tear, but let’s not forget how high he could have climbed this ladder if not for injury.
