8. Robin Lopez –  2K20 Rating: 75

It appears that 75 is a popular overall rating for new Bucks additions, as joining Kyle Korver on that mark is veteran center Robin Lopez.

Lopez’s game is very much built around doing the dirty work and his primary utility comes on the defensive end, which in its own right makes it unsurprising that he’d end up with an unglamorous rating in a video game.

The regression in Lopez’s rating last season is undoubtedly interesting, though, and perhaps something that he can address across the course of the season with the Bucks.

Playing alongside high potential young bigs, Lopez wasn’t always Chicago’s priority last year, which may have contributed to his rating falling from a 77 to a 75 between the beginning and end points of NBA 2K19.

Barring injuries, his brother will likely restrict his minutes with Milwaukee too, but there should at least be a consistency to them on a team eager for veteran contributions as they look to win now. Maybe that can gradually boost his rating over the course of the year, as 75 leaves him on the same rating as Pau Gasol, and Bucks fans will certainly be expecting more from RoLo than they got from the future Hall of Famer last year.
