The favorite in most people’s mind to start the new season in place of Malcolm Brogdon at shooting guard, Wesley Matthews just misses out on cracking the top-5 Bucks players in NBA 2K20.
A 76 rating may well be a fair assessment of where Matthews’ game is at this juncture of his career, though, and it falls very much in line with how he was rated for the majority of last season’s game.

Although Matthews started the season rated as a 77 with the Mavericks, as he eventually jumped to the Knicks and later the Pacers, he was consolidated as a 76.
Most importantly in terms of what the Bucks will be looking for from Matthews, his 3PT rating of 81 makes him a highly viable threat from distance, and another useful piece to help space the floor around Giannis, enabling the MVP to wreak even more of his own singular brand of havoc.
