4. Brook Lopez – 2K20 Rating: 79

It seemed like the entire NBA got swept up in the Brook Lopez three-point revolution that carried the Bucks to 60 wins and a Conference Finals berth last season, but somehow those responsible for ratings at 2K continue to miss the memo on Splash Mountain.

Lopez begins NBA 2K20 with a 79 rating that’s identical to his mark from 12 months ago, which is puzzling in its own right considering the differences between the preceding seasons in both cases.

Brook even dropped as low as 78 for a six-week stretch around the middle of last season, which considering his all around impact on the juggernaut Bucks makes very little sense.

A former All-Star who possesses a potent post scoring game, can not only space the floor efficiently but knock down long-range shots from greater distances than anyone other than Stephen Curry, and also anchor a defense with outstanding rim protection; Lopez deserves to at least be rated in the 80s.

Here’s hoping he can make that jump with his play over the course of this season.
