Milwaukee Bucks: NBA 2K20 ratings, progressions for every player

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo – 2K20 Rating: 96

Last but by no means least, we arrive with the man who graced the cover of NBA 2K19 and since then has gone on to cement himself among the league’s absolute best by claiming an NBA MVP award.

Coming in at 96, Giannis Antetokounmpo is ranked third in the game among current players, behind only Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James, who are both rated 97. Leonard’s playoff heroics leave little debate over his worthiness of being rated above Antetokounmpo for now, but at this point it’s a real debate between Giannis and an aging LeBron.

Giannis finished NBA 2K19 rated as a 96, which means no movement for him over the course of the offseason, but a steady climb up from 94 over the duration of last year’s game reflected the big stride the 24-year-old took in the campaign.

Having said that, based on his comments on that 94 rating last year, along with his declarations on how much potential he still believes he has left to realize, Giannis is unlikely to be dissatisfied with a 96 rating that continues to leave him more room to grow, improve, and prove people wrong.
