Turning our attention over to the Bucks’ opponents for a moment, the Celtics will look to grab their third straight victory when the Bucks come to town Wednesday night.

After dropping their regular season opener against Eastern Conference foe, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Celtics have taken their last two tilts, first coming against the Toronto Raptors and the New York Knicks. In order to take down the Bucks, the Celtics will have to shake off a little bit of rust with it being four days since they last took to the floor to blow out the Knicks in a 118-95 victory.

Along with that, the Celtics’ frontcourt is already banged up this early into the year as ESPN’s Tim Bontemps reported Tuesday morning that starting center Enes Kanter is slated to miss his third straight contest and questions surround the availability of backup center, Daniel Theis.

Should Theis join Kanter in the out column on the Celtics’ injury report, they will have to resort to a young, inexperienced frontcourt between Robert Williams and Grant Williams to provide minutes down low. That may be an area where the Bucks look to exploit, Antetokounmpo in particular, as he attempts to shed off some of the inconsistencies he’s sported nearly one week into the Bucks’ season.

Between Walker and the cadre of multi-dimensional wings the Celtics have between Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward and Jayson Tatum, the Bucks will be tested one way or another, making for an interesting early season clash for both squads.
