17.6

Through their first eight games, the Bucks are leading the NBA in net rating thanks to outscoring opponents by 9.4 points per 100 possessions.

That would still be good enough to lead the NBA in net rating since the Bucks’ current win streak got underway on Halloween night, but the truth is that Milwaukee has gone close to doubling that number during that span.

Mike Budenholzer’s team have been absolutely bludgeoning opponents into submission over the past seven days, as illustrated by their 17.6 net rating across that span. To put that into context, the Oklahoma City Thunder, who the Bucks play on Sunday, are second at 9.1 over that span.

That dominance has been a result of complete control on both ends, as the Bucks also boast the NBA’s best defensive rating (98.4) over the past seven days, while they’re second in offensive rating (116.0) too.

In other words, a 4-0 week doesn’t even begin to capture just how effective the Bucks have been in the past seven days.
