Jaylen Adams

First up in our look at this year’s Herd roster is second-year guard Jaylen Adams.

The Bucks brought in Adams on an Exhibit 10 deal in early August as they looked to fill out their training camp roster and the St. Bonaventure alum got limited run during the Bucks’ undefeated preseason where he showcased his range shooting in spurts by going 3-of-5 from three over his 26 minutes of play.

Adams comes to the Herd after spending his entire rookie season last year with the Atlanta Hawks, first as a two-way player and then on the Hawks’ roster proper after they converted his two-way contract into a multi-year, non-guaranteed deal in late February.

The 23-year-old is no stranger to the G League as Adams turned heads with his play for the Erie Bayhawks last year where he averaged 15.3 points on .392/.344/.763 shooting splits, 6.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 turnovers in his 20 appearances.

The Herd will certainly welcome more of that and more from Adams as they look to rebound from their struggles last year.
