Wisconsin Herd: Meet the 2019-20 opening night roster
Shannon Bogues
A newcomer to the G League, Shannon Bogues will look to lay down a foundation for his professional career while with the Herd this season.
The 6’2″ lead guard comes to Oshkosh after the Herd drafted him with the 31st overall pick during last month’s G League Draft and he was the lone player the team drafted to make the team’s final roster.
The 22-year-old is fresh off of finishing his collegiate career, which originally began in the JUCO ranks at McLennan Community College before Bogues transferred to Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches for his junior and senior years.
With the Lumberjacks, Bogues averaged 16.5 points on a .462/.362/.790 slash line, along with 2.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals over his 65 total appearances. And following each of his season with the Lumberjacks, Bogues was named to the All-Southland Second Team.
