Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things to watch for in return home vs. Portland Trail Blazers
By Adam McGee
Building on the streak
On the second leg of a back-to-back, the Bucks can at least come into Thursday’s game riding the momentum of a winning streak.
With five consecutive wins thank to a victory over the Hawks on Wednesday, Milwaukee is now in the midst of its longest streak of this still young season. Beyond those five wins in a row, the Bucks are also a formidable 9-1 in their last 10 games.
All of that combines to paint the picture of an in-form Milwaukee squad, and yet there’s no reason to believe they’re due for a slowdown any time soon.
Much like putting together a commanding stretch at home could really help to separate Mike Budenholzer’s team from the chasing pack in the East, more generally building up a lengthy run of victories at this early juncture of the season should only further fuel the team’s confidence for the road ahead.
The Bucks can already feel pleased about how they’ve weathered the adversity of Khris Middleton‘s injury in recent games, but it will be all the more impressive if they can keep piling up wins over the next month or so.
The Bucks game with the Trail Blazers will tip-off from 7pm CT on Friday at Fiserv Forum.
