Donte staying aggressive

One of the few bright spots of Monday’s loss in San Antonio was the play of Donte DiVincenzo following his one game off for rest.

Specifically, DiVincenzo delivered the kind of offensive outburst that has proven to be increasingly rare for him as this campaign as progressed.

In scoring 16 points off the bench, DiVincenzo compiled his most prolific scoring game since he matched that same tally back on November 21 against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The question now, though, is whether it was just another one of those occasional outbursts from the former Villanova man, or whether it’s possible he could string a run of double-digit games together.

The opponent should certainly give him a chance on Wednesday night, but DiVincenzo’s mindset will require him to again be as aggressive as he was on Monday, particularly when driving to the rim.
