A perfect day

While the Bucks’ performance was far from spotless, Kyle Korver‘s evening certainly was.

The 38-year-old continues to give the Bucks a lift off the bench and has increasingly been on a shooting tear after enduring through a tough slump earlier in the year. He showed that off throughout his shifts Monday as he was coming off screens and made good on the passes set up by his teammates on the day to knock down all of his looks.

While doing that on the offensive end, Korver competed well on the defensive end with his hustle and positioning, especially on a charge call that was thankfully reversed following a coach’s challenge from Mike Budenholzer midway through the fourth quarter.

All in all, Korver finished the day with 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting from the field (2-for-2 from long distance), four rebounds, two assists, a turnover and a steal and was a -1 in nearly 22 minutes of run.

Accounting for his outing Monday evening, Korver is now 15-of-27 from downtown over his last eight games, good for 55.6 percent, and he has scored over double digits in six games this season.
