Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things to watch for hosting Washington Wizards
How to exploit the Wizards’ D
With the woes the Wizards have on the the defensive side of the ball, there are multiple ways the Bucks could do damage Tuesday night.
For starters, the Wizards are one of the worst teams in defending the painted area as they allow the fourth-most opposing paint points per game (52.3) this season. They also have have the third-worst opponent 3-point percentage in the league at 37.2 percent.
That obviously falls in line with where the Bucks generate the most shots in their overall shot profile. Along with that, Milwaukee will surely take advantage of the lack of defensive discipline the Wizards show on that end of the floor as evidenced by their third-worst opponent free throw attempt rate in the NBA.
Of course, this is provided they’ll be clicking on all cylinders and we saw how much of a struggle that was for the league’s best during their victory in Paris last week. Considering the amount of traveling since then as well as the heavy days that Sunday and Monday have been, that could lead to similar struggles and a lack of execution to what we saw last time out.
The Bucks’ contest with the Washington Wizards will tip off a 7 p.m. central time at Fiserv Forum.
