Bled ballin’ out

His teammate and dunking rival may ultimately have stolen the limelight from him, but Eric Bledsoe also stepped up to the plate with a phenomenal performance to drive the Bucks forward against the Wizards.

Of course, an anxiety rightfully exists about what Bledsoe will deliver when the bright lights of the postseason come on later in the year, but it cannot be ignored that the Bucks’ point guard has stepped up when his team has needed him to so far this season.

On this occasion, Bledsoe powered Milwaukee’s rip roaring offense not just by pouring in a season-high 34 points, but also by dishing out 10 assists to just two turnovers.

Most of Bledsoe’s points came in bunches when he was simply able to get to the rim at will, without even a breath of resistance from the Wizards.

Also of note is that Bledsoe’s outstanding free throw shooting for the season continued as he went 10-of-10 from the stripe, and is now at 84.4 percent.
