A lot of the talk on Milwaukee Bucks Twitter recently has centered around what, if any, moves the team should make ahead of the coming NBA Trade Deadline. There’s good reason for that too.
Milwaukee find themselves well-positioned, just as they did a season ago, to compete for an NBA title this spring. In fact, the advanced stats continue to strongly suggest that this team is one of the best we’ve EVER seen in the long, decorated history of this league.

As The Ringer’s Rob Mahoney argued recently:
"“The Milwaukee Bucks are the favorites to win the NBA title. To reach any other conclusion at this point requires an awful lot of work.”"
Given the position that the Bucks find themselves in, some have begun to argue that now would be the perfect time for the team to make an “all-in” trade that could help the team acquire the final piece they need to win a championship this season. Brew Hoop and Forbes writer, Brian Sampson, proposed a hypothetical trade on social media Thursday morning that was designed along these lines. This discussion poses an interesting question that’s worth debating now with the trade deadline quickly approaching: Should the Milwaukee Bucks make an “all-in” move that potentially sacrifices their long-term flexibility in exchange for potentially improving their odds of a winning a title now?
