What’s going on, Marvin Gaye Williams Jr.? The Bucks’ recent high-profile addition turned in his best, most impactful performance in the short time he’s worn a Bucks uniform over the last couple of weeks. It certainly was great to see Williams’ shooting stroke finally turn up as he went 3-of-6 from long distance on the night, including two big triples in the Bucks’ late run during the third quarter. But it was Williams’ work on defense, especially when shadowing Raptors All-Star forward <a rel=. Forward. Milwaukee Bucks. MARVIN WILLIAMS. B

A. It would have been easy for Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer to panic, especially if any of us were in his position. On the second night of a back-to-back and the feelings upon returning to the same premises that haunted and eventually ended the Bucks’ run last season resurfaced during the Bucks’ disastrous play over the first half. While the Bucks certainly bent in front of the reigning champs, they definitely didn’t break and Budenholzer entrusted his star players to sort themselves out as the night went along, all of which came to pass. There wasn’t much more to ask for and the Bucks reaching the 50-win milestone in late February was something Budenholzer must have enjoyed deep down.. Head Coach. Milwaukee Bucks. MIKE BUDENHOLZER
