Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things to watch for in Monday visit to Miami Heat
By Adam McGee
Righting an early season wrong
The Milwaukee Bucks haven’t had many games to forget this season, but their previous meeting of the campaign with the Miami Heat certainly stands out as one of them.
A loss to the Heat played a part in the Bucks getting off to an underwhelming 2-2 start to the season, something which seems completely unthinkable now that they are 51-8 and tracking for a historic regular season.
On that occasion, though, the Bucks came up short in what was their home opener with a performance that was far from their best.
In spite of Jimmy Butler missing out for Miami, the Bucks endured long spells of struggling with both their shooting and their defense, and ultimately found themselves without Giannis Antetokounmpo for crucial minutes as he fouled out in overtime.
That performance left plenty for the Bucks to work on ahead of this rematch with Miami, and given just how much Mike Budenholzer’s team disliking losing to the same opponent twice, they should be intent on making a statement in this one.
