Milwaukee Bucks: 3 things to watch for in Monday visit to Miami Heat
By Adam McGee
Heat not quite so hot
With Bam Adebayo‘s emergence as an All-Star, and with Jimmy Butler settling in to his new surroundings, the Miami Heat were shaping up to be one of the Bucks’ foremost rivals in the East heading into the postseason.
Having hit a notably rough patch in form more recently, though, the Heat have started to look like a team with a longer list of questions that need to be addressed.
Undoubtedly, the moves made at the trade deadline that led to acquisition of Andre Iguodala, Jae Crowder, and Solomon Hill have added a new challenge for Erik Spoelstra as they work to integrate themselves into not just the system, but also the Heat’s famed cultural quirks.
In total, the Heat have lost seven of their last 11 games, although there may be signs of a turnaround coming given that Miami has picked up wins in their last two against Dallas and Brooklyn.
The Bucks won’t want to further fuel that resurgence, and will hope to put a real dent in a team that they could find themselves matched up with in the second round of the playoffs.
