Handling the back-to-back

After Sunday’s early-tip off in Charlotte, the Bucks face a quick turnaround as they head to South Beach on Monday night.

The Bucks weren’t quite firing on all cylinders as their 83-game streak of scoring at least 100 points in every game came to an end, but an outstanding Giannis performance saw Milwaukee through for their 52nd win of the season.

Still, where back-to-backs may strike fear into many teams around the NBA, there’s no real reason for it to be quite as daunting a prospect for Milwaukee.

So far this season, the Bucks are a perfect 8-0 on the second leg of back-to-backs, boasting an incredible point differential of +18.4 in those particular meetings.

If that trend continues on Monday night in Miami, the Bucks will cruise to a very easy victory and key starters such as Antetokounmpo, Middleton and Eric Bledsoe may well find themselves with their feet up on the bench for the game’s final few minutes.

The Bucks’ game with the Heat tips off from Miami at 6.30pm CT on Monday night.
