No slowing Donte down

Donte DiVincenzo led the Bucks’ bench contributions on Sunday, in a role that’s becoming more consistent and looking increasingly comfortable for him.

DiVincenzo reliably comes in and changes games with his defense, but his offense has hit an entirely different level of late.

Heading into Sunday, DiVincenzo had scored a career-high 19 points against the Pacers, and 17 points against the Lakers, and he didn’t disappoint in continuing that hot streak against the Suns.

DiVincenzo dropped 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting in this one, going to work from behind the arc for a couple of makes while also thriving on drives to the rim.

Considering just how much DiVincenzo used to struggle at the basket, his progress in that department has been truly impressive. But that also speaks to larger improvements with his feel overall.

If he continues on that track over the next couple of months, it could be completely transformative for the Bucks.

The Bucks are right back at it on Monday night as they visit the Denver Nuggets.
