Weaknesses
The vast majority of the questions surrounding Bey and projecting him at the next level are focused on how will the developing areas of his game translate on the NBA level.
Those questions will certainly vary from team to team as Bey will likely be asked to play more of a supporting role compared to the leading focal point he served for the Wildcats this season.
There’s also the element of being able to penetrate the paint and finish over NBA-sized and athletic big men at the rack, especially with the lack of explosive athleticism he possesses. Per Hoop-Math, Bey converted 62.9 percent of his scoring opportunities at the rim this year on a healthy amount of attempts.
Between his shooting and defensive versatility, Bey has a skill set that is built to instantly translate to the NBA. Where his game goes beyond that is surely dependent on the organization that selects him several months from now.
