vs. Charlotte Hornets, Nov. 30

It was on Nov. 30 when Lopez made his first start filling in for his twin brother, Brook, who missed the night with back soreness.

Robin had no trouble filling in the place of his older brother as the Bucks proceeded to demolish the Charlotte Hornets in what ended up being a 137-96 rout at Fiserv Forum.

Lopez’s starting turn that night really served as the first instance where he started to show off his improved shooting stroke as he knocked down a pair of corner triples early on in the first quarter and showed off his range near the top of the key during the second period.

Along with acting as the interim Splash Mountain for the night, Lopez did the same patrolling the paint and snuffed out a few oncoming Hornets drivers to send away devastating rejections in front of the basket. And Lopez’s ability to play in two-man games and hit cutting Bucks players led to him accumulating a season-high number of assists in a single game this season.

All in all, Lopez posted 13 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the field (3-of-5 from three), six rebounds, four assists, three blocks, two turnovers and was a +23 in 23 and a half minutes of burn.
