One of the youngest prospects in this draft, the sophomore announced his intentions to declare for this year’s draft Wednesday morning, though that comes with the caveat that he has yet to hire an agent in order to maintain his college eligibility.

While he keeps his options open for the time being, Lewis’ upward trajectory may entice him to forge forward with the next step of his career, especially as he finished the 2019-20 season on a particularly strong note.
While Alabama finished with a 16-15 record (8-10 during conference play), Lewis took home All-SEC first team honors. Now Lewis has a chance to become the second Alabama guard to potentially go in the first round of the draft in the last three years, following current Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton.
In his 31 appearances for the Crimson Tide this season, Lewis averaged 18.5 points on a .459/.366/.802 slash line, 5.2 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals across 37.6 minutes per contest.
